LEGEND Announces Next Generation DDR2-400 Registered ECC Server Memory Modules

Adelaide, South Australia - (October 25, 2004). Legend Corporation, a leading manufacturer of memory products announces the release of next generation DDR2 Registered ECC modules in capacity of 512mb and 1gb in 400mhz.

As with unbuffered, DDR2 offers CAS Latency options 3, 4 and 5.
The first LEGEND REG ECC modules released have a CAS Latency of 3.
Intel are the first motherboard manufacturer to release motherboards needing DDR2 Registered
ECC. The Intel chipsets requiring these modules are: E7525/E7520/E7530.
Do not be misled: Some of these boards also take DDR1 for the onboard RAID CONTROLLER.
Their main memory is still DDR2.
Legend offers Intel certified memory solutions for all available Intel DDR2 Registered ECC server platforms.
